Anabel Semerdzhieva
Lawyer
Anabel joined Alexeev Avocats in 2026, having begun her career in the litigation group of a leading Canadian law firm. She completed a legal clerkship at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, where she worked on international arbitrations involving interstate, investor-State, and commercial disputes.
Anabel obtained both civil and common law degrees from McGill University. During her studies, she served as a bilingual Senior Editor at the McGill Law Journal and worked at the Legal Collective, a legal clinic in Montréal. She also worked at the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations in Geneva.
Through her experience across diverse legal systems and institutional settings, Anabel brings a rigorous perspective that is tailored to the complex challenges our clients may face.
