Isabelle Montpetit

Passionate about litigation and class actions, Isabelle joined Alexeev Attorneys in 2024.

Initially trained in classical music, Isabelle began her career at the age of 14 with the Youth Orchestra of Laval-Laurentides. Her love of the stage and the arts led her to study drama. Isabelle then worked as an interdisciplinary artist for several years, as an actress on stage and in films, as a stage director, as a composer and arranger for symphony orchestras and as a sound designer. She is also author and co-author of plays and poetry.

In 2012, she co-founded the Théâtre de l’Embrasure company, as well as an small business specializing in event decoration. Over the years, Isabelle has developed skills in management, human resources and project management.

In 2014, her stage duet Crémant Impérial won the Académie littéraire prize for its excellence in unconventional forms. In 2023, her work was selected for a writing residency in Iceland, during which she worked on the themes of inheritance and territory.

In parallel, Isabelle studied sociology, in particular collective representations. In March 2016, she was a panelist at the Sommet des Femmes, and also wrote a column for Ricochet and Jesuisféministe medias.

Isabelle completed an LL.B at the Université de Montréal in 2023. She began her legal career at Lussier & Khouzam inc., where she put her experience as an interdisciplinary artist to good use in the fields of intellectual property, entertainment law and information technology.
