Lev Alexeev

Prior to founding Alexeev Attorneys, Lev practiced law for over ten years with a leading national law firm. He then acted as a senior legal counsel for one of Canada’s major construction companies. Returning to private practice, Lev became the head of the litigation group at his new firm.
Throughout his career, Lev has acquired extensive experience in litigation, arbitration and mediation, in both national and international cases. His expertise is sought at all stages of projects and disputes, from strategic advice during the negotiation of contractual agreements or the pre-litigation phase, to representation before the courts.
Expert in construction law, Lev is also called upon to act in class actions and commercial disputes of all kinds, including contractual law, shareholders’ disputes, injunctions, seizures and recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.
His experience as in-house counsel enables him to quickly grasp the variety of issues faced by the companies and entrepreneurs he represents. His advice is strategic and the solutions that he proposes are creative, pragmatic and effective.
