Mélina Cardinal-Bradette

Lawyer

Mélina joined Alexeev Attorneys in 2024, bringing with her a rich and diverse experience. After starting her career in environmental law with a major Canadian law firm, she focused on civil and commercial litigation. She has been a member of the litigation teams of both a boutique and a national law firm.

At Alexeev Attorneys, Mélina acts in a variety of civil and commercial litigation files. She is also a key member of the class action and public law teams. Mélina is pragmatic and takes a solution-oriented approach to help her clients to navigate complex legal challenges.

Mélina has a particular interest in environmental, social, and governance issues (ESG). Before starting her legal practice in Montreal, she completed a masters degree in international law at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on the social responsibility of corporations. This led her to Los Angeles, where she worked on strategic litigation and issues related to modern slavery laws and supply chain transparency.

Fluent in French and English, with a working knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese, Mélina is able to offer her services to a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds.
